Singapore is a year-around tropical destination. With very little fluctuations in temperature, all seasons are ideal for exploring the city state. Its consistent highs and lows from month to month can be attributed to its location nearly directly on the equator.

Heritage and modernity celebrate in style

Once a row of trading houses, and now sustainably restored, guests are in for an eccentric, elegant surprise as they enter the hotel which features large golden fans and strong hues of black, gold and yellow. Working within the restrictions of a heritage building and in harmony with a rich Asian history, the 49 guestrooms and suites are each uniquely individual, with bespoke furnishings and a designer ambiance that typify the experience in every way. A property highlight is the traditional Chinese doctor and medicinal herbal dispensary.

Six Senses Maxwell

Reflecting the authenticity of a bygone era

These joined colonial-style buildings have been carefully preserved with a stylish modern twist, and offer 120 guestrooms and suites, a Six Senses Spa, outdoor lap pool, Champagne bar and lounge and boardroom. A verandah lined with lush tropical foliage follows the length of the building and is the ideal spot to meet for refreshments and alfresco dining. The interior spaces, which are all different, meld together in respect of the architectural styles of the original buildings and add to the hotel’s charm.
