Six Senses Laamu’s signature restaurant

Perched above the organic garden, dine privately or at the communal Chili Table. Our chefs work with Maldivian fishermen and farmers to source local ingredients for our inventive dishes.


A culinary journey to the land of the setting sun

Zen features a live kitchen station which offers Japanese fusion cuisine with a modern twist. Guests can dine in a relaxed and casual atmosphere on the upper deck, while listening to the ocean waves in the background.


International overwater restaurant

This open air, two story dining space begins each day with a bountiful breakfast. Dinner is à la carte international menu of fresh catch, grilled meats, pastas and Asian flavours.

Chill Bar

Magic mix of a cocktail with sunset

Chill Lounge and Bar is built over the water and on several levels, where local fresh ingredients come into their own and the drinks taste as they were originally intended.

Ice & Chocolate Studio

A place for sweet moments

An al fresco ice cream parlour with forty-plus ever-changing flavours. Enter the chilled Chocolate Studio to find chocolate truffles with cinnamon, green tea, lavender and mint mojito.

Sip Sip

Dramatic sunken bar and poolside dining

Sip Sip with its sunken bar and adjacent poolside seating, emerges from the swimming pool and offers a great casual all day dining alternative. Homemade pizzas, crisp salads, juicy burgers, a variety of pasta and locally inspired desserts.

Stefan Goehcke

Executive Chef

Executive Chef Stefan Goehcke is a perfectionist by nature and together with his passion and creativity manages a team of around 75 working in the resort’s five kitchens. His wide experience has been gained at top resorts in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, with this extensive knowledge of global cuisines being utilized and fulfilled as he incorporates the freshest produce from the island’s organic garden into his recipes. Since arriving at Six Senses Laamu in November 2017 he has introduced a renewed perspective with innovative ideas and a focus on healthy cuisine options.

Karim Boulet

Head Sommelier

Originally from France, the mother land of some of the finest wines in the world Karim is anward-winning Wine Director with 10 years of experience in wine and restaurant management, and over 20 years in food and beverage industry. From the start of his career he set the bar high, working as an apprentice in the  Lasserre two-star Michelin restaurant in Paris and has evolved to a three Michelin Star Sommelier. His passion for the finest wines and the finest cuisines along with his curious spirit have traveled him around the globe not only for employment but also for the discovery of the contemporary trends. Karim is a certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He excels in food and wine pairing and his profound knowledge of Old World and New World wines will take you on a magical journey to the world's finest vineyards.
